Meet the Wedding Party! |

The Mister of Honor:
Arune Watcha
Sharon's best friend since high school.
I’m the once shy and quiet bookworm, turned wild and crazy social butterfly, and its all Sharon’s fault. Sharon and I have been best friends since High School. We met freshman year, and by senior year we were inseparable. We did everything together, went to all the school dances together (well, except for Prom… which is normally the dance EVERY gay man goes with his girl best friend…) She’s been there for all the good times, and the bad. And no matter what, she will always be my little sister.
I met Bryan during one of my house gatherings… he’s an awesome guy, incredibly sweet, and wow can that boy sing karaoke! Its probably also a good thing that I’ve never had any scissor dreams about him… LOL. Seriously though, I know that Bryan will make my little sister happy, so congratulations you two.
My 3 favorite phrases are:
-Ain’t no shame
-Ew!
-Horray!

The Bridesmaid:
Kelly Van Valkenburg
Sharon's roommate in college.
A computer decided that I was to be paired with a stranger for a roommate my first year in college, as if college wasn’t scary enough to begin with. That is how I came to live with Sharon. At first appearances it seemed that we would get along all right, who knew that we would quickly become the best of friends, almost like sisters. Late nights spent instant messaging each other from three feet away, the haunted stereo that played the same song over and over, singing our way to the dining hall…memories that will last a lifetime. It’s hard to believe that a stranger (and believe me she is strange) would be able to keep up with someone as strange as me.
And then Sharon met Bryan. I knew he was special when she gushed on and on about how they met. And when she started to arrange for us to meet – I knew he was going to be the one. Bryan is everything I have ever hoped that Sharon would find in her search for love. He is funny, intelligent, and definitely strange enough to keep up with her.
I know they will have all the happiness and passion throughout their lives together. Plus, we’ll be starting them off with one heck of party. :)

The Brides Gentleman:
Gary Villalobos
Sharon's kindred spirit.
I met Sharon around 1998 and haven’t been the same since. I was drawn to her by her unnaturally blue hair which reminded me of a Sailor Moon character, but it was her boisterous nature and warming energy that kept me in her orbit. We became great friends from then on – attending parties together, having sleepovers, watching Austin Powers ad nauseum (“Hey, there you are!” “Do I know you?” “No, but that’s where you are! You’re there!”), consoling each other during spectacular thunder storms... Okay, that was mostly me consoling her, but you get the idea. We were inseparable for a time, but became kindred spirits for so much longer.
I learned about Bryan one day while chatting with Sharon online. She was beaming even through Times New Roman font and I could tell that this was something that would blossom into something greater. I met him at one of Arune’s themed parties and knew that this guy was just right for our Share Bear. I’m glad I have the opportunity to be a part of your wedding party and wish you the best for your future. Oh, and one more thing! “Break [her] heart, I break your face.” ^_^

The Best Woman (2nd to the bride):
Elisabeth Drennen
Bryan's best friend since high school.
I met Bryan when I moved Manteca at the end of our Junior year. We had a few classes together, including history class, where the teacher showed us paintings that she described as "these are paintings done by a way famous painter." We bonded over her stupidity, but what really sealed our fate as best friends was when we both sat down next to each other in band. That's right, I too was a saxaphone playing band geek. We did pretty much everything together after that. I even tolerated 3 Dream Theater concerts with him. Bryan has been one of my most loyal friends over the years. He was my shoulder to cry on, when life kind of sucked. Even when I moved out of state, he was my long distance sounding board. On my last trip home, Bryan wanted me to meet Sharon. So we went to Applebees for dinner. She didn't get to say much, but then again I talk a lot so she probably couldn't get a word in edgewise. Regardless, I could tell that they are meant to be together. She makes him so happy, and I wish nothing but the best for the two of them.

The Groomsman:
Michael Wright
Bryan's good friend.
I've known Bryan for a little over 3 years now, and I
can't think of a better man who deserves a great gal like Sharon more than
him. We've had some good times talking of life, love, happiness, work, music,
and out-witting his younger sister (sorry, Crystal), whom I've shared a
wonderful three years going out with. Bryan is a hard working and dedicated
person that is going succeed at anything that he puts his mind to. Another
one of his many qualities is his loyalty as a friend; thank you for that.
Sharon, whom also has many great qualities about her, is a perfect match for
Bryan. She has that aura about her that makes you feel relaxed and welcomed
as soon as you meet her. There aren't many things to say about Sharon that
we don't already know; she is nothing short of amazing. She's beautiful,
intelligent, witty, funny, and can watch all 12 hours of Dune without
falling asleep. These two kids have a great thing going for each other and
it can, and will, only get better. Congratulations and thank you for making
me a part of your lives.

The Grooms Lady:
Crystal Stone
Bryan's sister.
Being Bryan's little sister has been the funnest job I've ever had. I really enjoyed doing my many years of tagging along, and downright annoying him with the nick name (which he dreads) that I won't announce to the world (you’re welcome). Now that we are both older, even though I bet I still drive him crazy with all my "Pheobe-isms," I can truly say he's been a great older brother: never being overly protective but I always knew I could count on him to kick some butt if I asked, always there to explain whenever I'm confused about something simple, my backseat roomate on those long drives down to southern Cali and my therapist whenever I think I'm going crazy.
I'm glad we got to spend so many years together and now I'm glad we get to spend the years to come with Sharon (my new sister!). They are a great couple and I wish nothing but the best to both of them together and individually. I hope the wedding planning doesn't make us all crazy, I think it'll be
fun. See you all at the alter 06-23-06!

The Usher:
Raymond Castro
Sharon's good friend.
Having met through a mutual friend nearly ten years ago, Sharon and Raymond share a close friendship built of adventures, indulgence, and Scrabble. Though he fears most of this is now over, he is glad that she has found someone to make her happy in the way only a husband can.
